With Greater Awareness We Can Do Even More.
AIDA has been working hard since 1966 to represent the views of its members in an effort to preserve the neighbourhood character of the area.
There have been many successes over the years, but the challenges ahead with new planning scheme zones send a signal that AIDA needs to redouble its efforts, and that means firstly ensuring people in the community are not only aware of AIDA and its goals, but also join AIDA to demonstrate their support.
So AIDA has decided to become a little more visible. All new members may request a discrete designer lapel badge to signal their support for our coastal community. Members and supporters alike are now encouraged to display a very distinctive and well produced windscreen sticker to complement the lapel badge.
There are four different stickers in the series (one is shown above). For those who do not have a sticker or would like a replacement, they will be available free to members at AIDA’s 2015 AGM, which will be held on Saturday 11th April from 4 pm at the Aireys Inlet Community Centre. Alternatively use the ‘CONTACT US’ button on the top menu to request a sticker.
The committee hopes all members will wear their car sticker proudly and stimulate awareness of how AIDA works to preserve the beauty of the area we all so much enjoy.
