In 2012 the Surf Coast Shire Council returned to a ward structure and residents and ratepayers of our district are now represented by three of nine ward councillors, two (Libby Coker and Margot Smith) representing the Anglesea Ward, which includes Aireys Inlet and Fairhaven, and one (Clive Goldsworthy) representing the Lorne Ward, which includes Moggs Creek and Eastern View.
