Aireys Inlet Tourism & Traders Association Inc. Mission Statement.

Website: www.aireysinlet.org.au

The Aireys Inlet Tourism and Traders Association has been actively working on behalf of the community for a number of years. It boasts a membership of over 60 traders.

The main purpose of the Association is to work together with all traders, in all areas to address their various needs.  We are a forum which encourages the varying views of the community in the hope of coming to mutually agreeable outcomes relating to the improvement of the town’s facilities and amenities, as well as ensuring that we encourage a healthy respect for our beautiful environment.

We aim to promote our town as a destination, supporting a range of events, driven by the community, which fit in with our culture, whilst maintaining the existing and iconic laidback feeling that has always been an attraction.

Some of our most recent achievements have been:

  • Improvements to signage
  • Updating the information board at the Top Shops
  • Maintaining a vibrant and informative website: aireysinlet.org.au
  •  Providing advertising support for the traders
  • Auspicing successful community events such as the annual “Love Winter in Aireys” which support local businesses and provide a variety of cultural experiences to entertain the community and visitors to the township in quiet seasons.

Our focus for the future will be to continue to support community events such as the Open Mic Festival, Love Winter in Aireys and the Town Christmas Party. We will also continue to liaise with the Surfcoast Shire, Tourism Boards and continue to invite keynote speakers to our meetings to inform and educate. Some recent guest speakers have come from the CFA, the Tourism Board, Representatives from the Surfcoast Shire and local identities.

Aireys Inlet Tourism and Traders Association conducts open meetings on a regular basis and we welcome all groups and individuals to participate in our discussions, offer suggestions or express concerns.

We are here to support our whole community.
