2 Fraser Drive, Aireys Inlet
AIDA has had a very long interest in the development of older persons housing at 2 Fraser Drive, Aireys Inlet. Four units were originally developed in the southeast corner of the site during the 1990’s and a Community Garden has been created in the northwest corner in more recent times.
The remainder of the site currently lies vacant.
The Surf Coast Shire identified 2 Fraser Drive as one of three Council owned sites suitable for the development of social and affordable housing as part of its Affordable Accommodation Action Plan 2022. AIDA has been represented on the Community Advisory Group which has participated
