Uniting for the Painkalac Valley: Introducing the Painkalac Valley Network

The Painkalac Creek and Valley is fortunate to have dedicated volunteers working alongside government and statutory organizations to protect its natural environment. To strengthen these efforts, members from several local community groups – including Angair, AIDA, Estuary Watch volunteers, Swimmable Painkalac and environmental, bird and native animal groups – have joined forces to create the Painkalac Valley Network.

We collaborate on issues affecting the entire landscape of the Painkalac Valley, with a shared vision of reviving and maintaining the Painkalac from its source to the ocean. We envision a thriving, interconnected community and ecosystem for generations to come.
