This year’s annual general meeting will be held on Saturday 11 April at 3 pm in the Community Hall.
The meeting will begin with a short address by Surf Coast Shire mayor and local Otway Ward councillor, Libby Stapleton, followed by a presentation by Sharna Whitehand, Coordinator Community Emergency Management for the Surf Coast
Shire. Local councillors Mike Bodsworth and Leon Walker regret that they are unable to attend our AGM this year.
The Agenda for the AGM, last year’s AGM Minutes and a Proxy Voting form for those who cannot attend in person will be emailed to members at least two weeks before the AGM.
Among the items on the agenda will be the election of the AIDA committee for the next year. If you are interested in joining the committee, please

Following the AGM, Rod Brooks and Andrew Bell will give a presentation on ‘Better Prepared – Aireys Inlet to Eastern View’, which is a small group of community members working to help our community to be better prepared for emergencies.
After the presentation there will be time to catch up over refreshments. Tea, coffee and wine will be provided.
Members can renew their 2026 subscriptions on the day. Membership forms will be available, and new members will be welcome to join prior to the AGM.
