AIDA has recently made a donation of $2,000 to the Community Asset Committee which is raising
funds in support of the above project. We are regular users of the Community Hall, Committee Room and associated kitchen and toilet facilities and our input on the proposed project has been positively received.
The toilet refurbishment project will provide the following significant improvements to the current facilities:
- A new accessible toilet which will be fully compliant with current building codes and regulations including associated works to the existing male and female toilet
- Hall security will be improved by providing a dedicated toilet for tennis-court
- The tennis club will be able to access the hall without passing through the existing accessible
AIDA believes that the above improvements will be well worth the possible disruptions caused as the works are being carried out. We will advise members about the programming of this project once these details have been provided by the Community Asset Committee.
