The Rubbish Rangers are going strong and recently celebrated a fifth anniversary at the Aireys Pub.
Unfortunately, there continues to be a lot of rubbish around the Inlet up to the lighthouse, around the car park opposite Steps Beach and along the road sides.
The Rubbish Rangers and other locals who pick up rubbish throughout the week at Aireys are definitely making a difference to the landscape. It is great to see people being proud of their town.
If people are interested in being a Rubbish Ranger, we meet at Aireys Hall at 9 am on a Saturday morning and 8 am during daylight saving. It doesn’t have to be every week, it’s just when you are available. The carrot at the end of our hourlong rubbish ranging is joining everyone for a coffee and a bit of banter at one of our many great coffee
establishments in Aireys.
